Checking for Cancer: "How to Save a Life" Presentation at The Haverford School
Date Posted: 4/18/2012
As a follow up to our great day of Lacrosse on Saturday, we have arranged for a Checking for Cancer presentation for the boys. As a "thank you" for CFC's continued support of HUP, David J. Vaughn, MD, Professor at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Oncologist will presented "Checking for Cancer: How to Save Your Life" on April 18th for the Juniors and Seniors at The Haverford School. He was accompanied by Barbara Zoltick, RN, MSN with the Livestrong Cancer Survivorship Program. The program was very informative (and age appropriate) explaining male cancers, early detection, prevention and good lifestyle choices. It was an excellent follow-up to the Checking for Cancer Tournament on April 14th.
